Hey, it’s been a while, hasn’t it?
I have spent the past 3 weeks in the Philippines with my family, and it was such a different experience for me. At home, I don’t really have any family other than my parents, but over there, I have so many aunts, uncles, and cousins that it’s overwhelming. I had the most fun being with them and I already miss them so much. Being with family for the first time in about 16 years is a very powerful feeling. :’)
I’m actually not fully adjusted to the US, even after a couple days (it doesn’t help that I went to Disneyland in one of those days, another strange land). I feel out of sorts with so much to do, but don’t know what order I should do it in.
During my time in the Philippines, I filled up an entire sketchbook (what is it… number 12… 13?) and quite a few of those sketches were of my family, which is what I have here.
I keep forgetting that other than this sketchbook, I actually have 2 other completed sketchbooks that have yet to be scanned and dumped on the internet. So… I better get on that, shouldn’t I? :P
More work shall be produced soon, so please look forward to it.
